CONTACT LENS SOLUTION – ARE YOU
USING IT CORRECTLY?
Multi purpose solutions
helps in caring for contact lenses to expand the life span of our lenses. What
could be more convenient than a one size fits all approach to ensuring lenses
are safe to wear?
It requires rinsing with
sterile saline or a multi-purpose solution afterwards. As with hydrogen
peroxide solutions, this product should never be placed directly in your eye.
Daily cleaner is for cleaning your contact lenses. Multipurpose solution is for
cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting and storing your contact lenses - and when used
correctly offer many benefits. As with any solution though, it’s important to
ensure that it is used correctly.
Lens should be cleaned (by following the method of care) afterwards stored in fresh solution after each use. After lenses are retrieved from the solution to be worn again, the lens case should be cleaned using fresh solution, wiped gently with tissue, and then left to air dry. Care should be taken to ensure that only a solution recommended by an optician is used – and that solutions past their expiry date are discarded and replaced.
Please
take a note
Use
antibacterial soap where possible, and dry your hands with a lint-free towel.
Don't use oil or lotion-based soaps, which can cloud or soil your lenses. Do
use fresh, contact lens cleaning solution every time. Don't use tap or sterile
water, saliva, saline solution or rewetting drops.
